Cougars post track from Pillow Talk

Go Kart act Cougars have posted a new track from their upcoming Steve Albini-produced full length, Pillow Talk. The record is the follow up to the Manhandler EP and their last full length, Nice, Nice. It is due out early next year.

The band is scheduled to perform at this year's Flower15 charity festival, along with a reunited Smoking Popes and Promise Ring, Isis, Ted Leo and many others.

Ris Paul Ric (ex-Q and Not U) album info released, touring in the Fall

Album information for the debut from Ris Paul Ric has been released. Chris Richards, of recently disbanded Dischord act Q and Not U formed the project which will release Purple Blaze on November 1st via Academy Fight Song.

Two tracks from the record were recently posted for streaming as well. You can find those on the band's myspace page,

Richards will be embarking on a full US tour in October / November to support the album. The first set of dates for that tour have been announced, with more expected as they are confirmed.

Fall Out Boy posts "The Prologue" (to "Dance, Dance")

Last week, Fall Out Boy posted a countdown timer which completed today. The result was a link to "The Prologue," a teaser for their upcoming video "Dance, Dance" which is due to premiere on October 11th.

The track comes from Under the Cork Tree which has, to date, sold more than 750,000 copies. The band is currently headlining the Nintendo Fusion Tour and are joined by The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Boys Night Out and Panic! At the Disco.

The band also recently launched a voting page for people to vote for the tracks that make up the band's setlist during the tour.

From Autumn to Ashes release video for "Where Do You Draw the Line?"

From Autumn to Ashes has released new streams of the first video from their recent full length. Titled Abandon Your Friends, the record is the follow up to The Fiction We Live and was released on August 30th.

The band recenty completed the a tour with Rise Against, The Loved Ones and Comeback Kid and has a new set of dates lined up this month with Armor for Sleep, Emanuel and Biology. Following those, the band will hit the road with Boy Sets Fire

The Hush Sound set to record follow up to "So Sudden"

The Hush Sound will be writing and recording their follow up to So Sudden this winter with Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy and Sean O'Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, Hawthorne Heights) producing.

Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance will reissue So Sudden on October 11th, and the label is currently running a contest for pre-orders. You can find some details about that here.

Before they enter the studio, the band has some shows book in their home state.
